Wearable Arts...being on stage!

I heard the public rapidly clapping while the amazing dancers performed.

I heard the loud music fill through my ears as I was behind the curtains.

I saw bright lights streaming through my eyes as I did my pose.

I felt the giant spray can bouncing against the Rad Rhythm bins.

I felt embarrassed watching my parents smiling and waving at me.

I wondered if I would mess up horribly and everyone would laugh.

I wondered if I would fall off the stairs and hurt myself very badly.

How to care for my pet dragon

In room 18 we have been doing how to care for your pet dragon instructions. Here is mine.

Feeding your dragon:

Ask your dragon what it wants. Put a cup of what he wants in his dog bowl. Now tell your dragon to wash his hands and it should wash his hands (if not tell him again). Now get your dragon in front of his bowl and say “eat” really loud and watch your hungry dragon eat it all up. Watch out for choking.

             

     Playing with your dragon

First say to your pet dragon we’re going to play a game e.g. hide and seek. Tell him the rules. Now tell your dragon to hide and it will hide. Count for 30 seconds. Now find your dragon and when you find the dragon tell him it’s their turn and then find a place to hide. Have lot of fun playing hide and seek (remember you can play other games).

Taking your dragon to the movies

First put a collar on him and take him to the car. Then tie him to the roof of your car (you will need to use tape and ensure you tie the mouth). Next drive to the movies and find a big park (at a mall please). Put your dragon into the trolley by lifting him in. Go through the mall to the movies while the dragon is in the trolley. Now pick a movie (dragon ones are great). Buy your tickets and also buy lollies, popcorn and ice cream. Now go watch your movie but make sure the dragon doesn’t fly away (if does then pull his collar).

Training your dragon to fly ( for baby dragons)

First tell your dragon to fly and it should try but keep falling. Get a crane and lift him onto your car. Now tell him to jump really high. Next tell him to start flapping his wings.   Now watch your dragon fly (if he falls get him to try again). When they do it give them a little snack.

Grooming your dragon:

First get his comb and comb him. Next fill up the bath. Put him in the bath and give him some soap. Watch your dragon wash. Take him out and dry him with his towel. Cut your dragon’s fur. Now put him back in the bath. Wash off all the fur and then snip his nails. Take him back out of the bath and dry him again. Put a pea sized amount of toothpaste on the toothbrush. Brush his teeth with his toothbrush.

Putting your dragon to bed:

First say bedtime. If your dragon is in a bad mood then he will not go but to fix this you will say “no book”. Now it should go (if not, then tell them again). When it is in bed tell him a story and give him his teddy. Now fill up his drink with water. Tell him to go toilet one last time. Now say goodnight and leave the bedroom slowly and quietly. Close the door behind you. Check on him every 19mins (but quietly).

Exercising your dragon:

First put your dragon on a lead. Now tell him that we are going on a walk. Kick him out the door. Tell him to start walking. Check him after about 29mins and take him back home.
